How much does it cost to join?
Air Cadets is inexpensive and great value for money! Cadets pay a small contribution once a month via standing order. This varies from Squadron to Squadron. The money is used to assist with Squadron activities.
Do I have to join the RAF?
No. However, because we are sponsored by the RAF, we are able to offer flying opportunities in RAF aircraft and visits to RAF bases. But being a cadet won’t just help you if you want a military career - it will give you a head start whatever career path you choose.
